Do you love mountains or beaches? It’s hard to choose, isn’t it? Near my home, tall mountains rise like giants. Every morning, I step outside and see them first. If I don’t see those peaks, my day feels empty, like something’s missing.

The Magic of Mountains

Isn’t that what life’s about? Searching for a little comfort, a little peace? Whether it’s escaping the heat, easing a worry, or chasing a moment of calm, we all keep searching. My search takes me to the mountains. Where does yours take you?

The mountains near my home are lush and green. They fill the air with freshness, making every breath feel alive. Once, I moved to a city far from them. I missed those mountains so much it hurt. So, I returned to live among them again.

Escaping the Heat

This summer, the city was burning, hot and heavy with no relief. So, I headed to the mountains. As I climbed higher, the air turned cooler, the breeze softer. The higher I went, the better it felt. I learned something: it’s not just about being among mountains, it’s about their height. The higher you go, the cooler it gets.

Relaxing on Mountain

A Lesson from the River

I remember crossing the Jhelum River bridge in Kashmir. Tall mountains surrounded it, but the bridge sat low, only 570 meters above sea level. The heat there was just as bad as in my city, Islamabad. It hit me: being near mountains isn’t enough. You need to climb high to find that perfect, cool air.

Climbing to Comfort

As I moved higher, the weather turned gentle again. In summer, I crave escape, away from the heat, up to the peaks. This time, I chose the Himalayas. With every step up, the heat faded. At the top, the air was perfect. I stood there, breathing easy, feeling alive.

Is This Life’s Purpose?

Isn’t that what life’s about? Searching for a little comfort, a little peace? Whether it’s escaping the heat, easing a worry, or chasing a moment of calm, we all keep searching. My search takes me to the mountains. Where does yours take you?
